2-minute seaweed tartar

I love this tartar, it goes very well on my cauliflower bread, but adding a bit more water it can also be used as a creamy salad dressing! This is so quick and easy to make and a great way to get your iodine, so important for proper thyroid function. Plus it's high in Omega-3 fatty acids, magnesium and vitamin E!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/2 cup hemp seeds

  • 1/4 cup tahini or sunflower butter

  • 2 TBSP dried seaweed

  • 2 TBSP apple cider vinegar

  • 1 TBSP capers

  • 1 tsp mirin (if you don't have mirin, you can use 1/2 tsp of raw honey instead)

  • Sea salt to taste

  • 1/3 cup (30ml) filtered water

  • (optional: 1 big scoop collagen powder)

PREPARATION:

  • Add all ingredients to blender and blend up

  • Store in a glass jar in the fridge for up to 7 days
