Guilt-free chocolate protein bars


INGREDIENTS:

Dry ingredients:

  • ½ cup Pumpkin protein powder (or other but pumpkin has a sweeter taste)

  • ½ cup Roasted sunflower seeds

  • ¼ cup Hemp seeds

  • ¼ cup Shredded coconut

  • 30 g Raw cocoa powder or carob powder (or half/half)

  • ½ teaspoon Sea salt

  • Optional : Cinnamon vanilla, turmeric & black pepper


Wet ingredients:

  • 150 -180g whole fresh pitted dates (if dried, soak in a bit of water)

  • 6 Tablespoons Tahin, almond butter or sunflower butter (natural and organic)


PREPARATION:

  • Combine all dry ingredients and mix

  • Combine wet ingredients in a food processor and mix.

  • Mix wet and dry ingredients

  • You can make balls or bars (approx. 40g each)


Can be stored in the fridge for up to 4 weeks or put in the freezer
